Objectives – Vision

The objective of the Church is:
  1. Preaching of the Word of God to the mutual edification, instruction and discipline of its members and other believers;
  2. Winning of souls to Christ;
  3. Helping one another to develop the spiritual life; and
  4. Instructing the children in the Word of God, the furtherance of the Gospel work on the mission fields at home and abroad, and doing good deeds to the glory of God.

Here at AFVC, we aim to be a worshiping church, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing His person, and responding in obedience to His leadership, to experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and fellow believers, to help people experience a growing knowledge of God and man.We also aim to be a church that ministers unselfishly to people in the community and the world in Jesus’ name.

Principles of Faith

We affirm that the Bible is God’s revelation to mankind, and that it is inspired by God, it is without error [in the original manuscripts], it is an accurate record of the history and future of mankind, and that it depicts the birth, life, death and resurrection of the Savior of all mankind, our Lord Jesus Christ, and is therefore the sole basis for our faith. We regard the scriptures of the Bible as authoritative in all matters of faith, practice, and principle.
