• When a person is saved (baptized in water), the person becomes a member of the body of Christ.
• Becoming a church member means you are formally committing yourself to be identified as a part of the body of Christ.
• Membership involves commitment to worshiping the Lord corporately, edifying brothers and sisters through mutual encouragement and service, cooperating in mission, and holding each other accountable to walk in a manner that pleases the Lord (this is done through membership covenant)
• Covenant church membership is a way to keep each other accountable in our walk with Christ. This is done by way of written Christian obligations of Amazing Faith Victory Church Body to the members and obligations of the members to the Amazing Faith Victory Church body.

Why become a member of a local church?

• To have a sense of belonging (Hebrews 2:11)
• Opportunities to make a difference through volunteering
• To be accountable towards each other in our walk with Christ
• To be part of a spiritual family and having access to spiritual fellowship, encouragement, and support

Membership Process:

• Step one:
  • Visit one of our Sunday Afternoon Worship Services at 2:30pm
  • Sign-up and attend a “Getting to know us” session
    • Getting to Know us session – A way to know more about Amazing Faith Victory Church, what we believe in, what we offer, Membership process, question & answer period, and more.
• Step Two:
  • Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and be baptized by water immersion
  • Baptism Classes for those that have not yet being baptized
  • Written commitment / membership covenant

• Step Three:
  • Declaration of membership during a worship service
